A new species of Echinogammarus Stebbing, 1899 (Crustacea, Amphipoda) from Moroccan freshwaters Naturalis
Fadil, Fatima; Dakki, Mohamed.
Systematic sampling has proved that members of the genus Echinogammarus are known from limited areas of Morocco. In this paper, we describe a new species of Echinogammarus (Crustacea, Amphipoda): Echinogammarus oujdae n. sp. from freshwater of the northeastern region with remarks on its affinities and ecology.

Les Agapetus du Maroc — description de deux espèces nouvelles (Trichoptera, Glossosomatidae) Naturalis
Giudicelli, Jean; Dakki, Mohamed.
Three species of Agapetus have been collected in the Middle and in the High Atlas (Morocco): A. fuscus Vaillant, 1954, previously known from Algeria, and two new species. Agapetus dolichopterus n. sp. is a small species; it shows the most pronounced reduction in wing venation among the Agapetus species. Agapetus berbericus n. sp. is closely related to A. numidicus Vaillant, 1954, and probably also to A. incertulus Mac- Lachlan, 1884. Larvae of A. dolichopterus and of A. fuscus were collected in fairly cold waters; those of A. dolichopterus were only found in springs. The immature stages of A. berbericus live in warmer waters, between 18 and 25.5° C.

Les sources du Moyen Atlas et de Rif (Maroc): Faunistique (description de deux espèces nouvelles de Trichoptères), écologie, intérêt biogéographique Naturalis
Giudicelli, Jean; Dakki, Mohamed.
Seven springs in the Middle Atlas and five in the Rif have been studied. These show a great diversity of crenal habitats: water temperature ranges from 8.7° to 21°C, and the flow from 1 l/s to 1,800 l/s. Based on hydrologic and thermic characteristics, a spring typology is provided. The invertebrate community consists of 60 species, among which 4, found in the Rif, are new to science: Protonemura sp. (Plecoptera), Obuchovia sp. (Diptera, Simuliidae), Rhyacophila fonticola n. sp., and Philopotamus ketama n. sp. (Trichoptera). The new Trichoptera are both described. Two rare endemic species (the planarian Acromyadenium maroccanum and the coleopteran Elmis atlantis) have been found in a cold-water spring in the Middle Atlas; two black-fly species ( Cnetha...

Remarques sur la présence du genre Gammarus (Crustacés amphipodes) au Maroc, avec description d’une nouvelle espèce Naturalis
Fadil, Fatima; Dakki, Mohamed.
A review is given of literature on Moroccan members of the genus Gammarus (Crustacea Amphipoda). Only four Gammarus species were known with certainty from Morocco, viz. Gammarus gauthieri (Karaman, 1935); Gammarus acalceolatus Pinkster, 1971; Gammarus rouxi Pinkster & Goedmakers, 1975; and Gammarus microps Pinkster & Goedmakers, 1975. In the present paper, a new species of Gammarus, G. maroccanus n. sp. is described from freshwater of the northern central region in Morocco, with remarks on its affinities and its ecology.
